Community Involvement
Alpine Insurance is invested in sustainability throughout our entire business operation. We are at the forefront of utilizing conservation measures such as paperless document options including mobile app based solutions to in-office recycling programs. We have automatic thermostat set points to save energy and utilize LED lighting in all our offices province wide.
At Alpine Insurance, we understand that our responsibility to Albertans spans beyond our clients. We believe in being active in our community to make sure the footprint we are leaving is bigger than we are as individuals. These are a few of the organizations that we and our staff have chosen to support:
- Red Deer Special Olympics
- Autism Asperger’s Friendship Society
- Children’s Hospital Activity Book
- Food Banks Across the province of Alberta
- Brown Bagging for Kids lunch program.
- SOS School Safety Magazines
- Calgary Herald Christmas Fund

The books are designed for children ages 4 to 12 who are in hospital or currently going through medical treatment. An Advisory Panel, which includes Child Life Specialists from these organizations, ensure the activities are fun for the children but are also designed specifically for these professionals to communicate with children about their thoughts, fears and feelings. These activities range from simple dot to dot colouring to more advanced puzzles.
The Hospital Activity Book for Children is provided free of charge to the children and professionals via the support of businesses within the community.
