Part of being involved within the community is having a voice to promote change. Over the last decade, Alpine Insurance has committed partnerships with various member associations to ensure we are a part of the Albertan economical voice.

Professional Associations

People today are overwhelmed with choices – and often unsure about where to find verified, unbiased information. There are more than 30 million businesses in North America alone; and hundreds of thousands of sites around the world where people shop online. There are thousands of free and subscription websites that offer a range of information, including reviews, reports, directories, listings, and gripe sites. BBB is the one place you can find it all.

For over 100 years, BBB has helped people make smarter decisions and is evolving to meet fast changing marketplace needs.

The Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta (IBAA) is a not-for-profit trade association that represents more than 5300 insurance brokers. Their member brokers represent over 320 individual brokerages and work in over 550 offices throughout Alberta, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Living and working in approximately 167 communities, the member brokers are closely connected with insurance consumers, their communities, and local issues, economics, and goals.

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) is the big voice for small businesses. For over 40 years, they have represented the interests of the small business community to all three levels of government in their fight for tax fairness, reasonable labour laws and reduction of regulatory paper burden.

The Alberta Insurance Council and the Ministry of Treasury Board and Finance work together to ensure consumers are protected and companies, insurance adjusters and insurance agents operate at the highest standards.
